Before the game opens for reserves and applications, why not try out some of your characters in the setting?

1. Post a comment with the character you're thinking of apping. Act like they're already in the setting.
2. Tag around other people who are doing the same.
3. App when applications open. App app app.
4. Have fun!

Here's some ideas of prompts to get you started.

-This is not where you were the last time you checked. You didn't expect to see so many broken-down buildings and empty streets, and the natives aren't really that friendly... Isn't there anybody here who knows what's going on? Or at least, is in the same boat as you?

-Let's just step outside this wall for a minute and - woah! What was that? And it's trying to kill you now! You'd better defend yourself, or have somebody else come to your rescue!

-Negotiation with demons? Are you willing to stoop to that level? Maybe you are. Maybe you are and you're a natural... or maybe you just aren't very good at telling what demons want.

-Travel is always difficult even without demons trying to kill you. Luckily you've got a traveling companion to help you set up a tent or something, right?
